The Yum Yum Cupcake Truck

On a recent visit to the Korean BBQ Taco Box we were delighted to see the Yum Yum Cupcake Truck there also. So while we waited for our food to be prepared we picked up some dessert.

Yum Yum is ran by Joey Conicella and Alex Marin.

It is a converted Chevy box truck turned into a  rolling confectionery stand.

It has really become another one of Orlando's great food trucks.

Yum Yum cupcakes are anything but ordinary and are packed with luscious rich flavors that will have you moaning after each bite!

Yum Yum prides itself on gourmet confections. Trust me....once you have one you will judge all cupcakes differently.

They have quite the selection of flavors at reasonable prices.

Some current specials include:

Nannerpants (aka Banana Cream Pie)
(Graham cracker crust, banana cake filling, light butter cream frosting)

Salted Caramel
(Chocolate Caramel Cake topped with a rich Caramel Butter cream and drizzled with Caramel and Sea Salt and is topped with Peterbrooke's famous Chocolate Covered Caramel Popcorn)

Peanut Butter Choco-Rama
(Peanut Butter Frosting, crushed peanuts, and chocolate sauce top on a moist chocolate cake)

S’mores Please
(Graham cracker crust, melted chocolate morsels, and chocolate cake with marshmallow fluff frosting, graham cracker crumbles and little marshmallows)

The Dough Dough Bird
(Cookie cake with a dollop of raw cookie dough in the middle while the cake bakes. Its topped with a Chocolate Chip Cookie frosting

You get the idea...Yum Yum Cupcakes are decadent!

We started to order 2 cupcakes only, but were convinced that the pack of 4 was a better deal and would be better to sample.

Cupcakes are $2.50/piece.

If you order 4 they are $9.00 and 6 for $13.00.  If you want to share with the office you can get 12 for $25.00

We decided to go with the Nannerpants, Salted Caramel, Red Velvet, and the Peanut Butter Choco-Rama.

All of the cupcakes had an extremely moist cake that was baked to perfection and allowed the flavors to soak up into the cake very well.

The Nannerpants was like a dream of your grandmas best banana pudding wrapped up in a cupcake.

The Salted Caramel was heavenly and had to be enjoyed in slow bites to savor the rich chocolate flavor.

(The Peterbrooke Chocolate of Winter Park inspired Salted Caramel Cupcake just won Best Cupcake at the Festival of Chocolate)

The Red Velvet cupcake was good also. It is like having a mini slice of your favorite red velvet cake.

Peanut Butter Choco-Rama was a peanut butter lovers fantasy. It has a rich but light peanut butter frosting and very moist chocolate cake.

All of the cupcakes they offer look tantalizing.

On my next visit I will have to try the Dark Chocolate Raspberry and  the Smores Please!

Got the Banh Mi BBQ Chicken food both periods. It was so excellent that I had to get the same factor the 2nd time! The pork is smooth and very healthy. The breads is definitely perfect--crusty, flaky, but smooth within baguette, just like in Portugal.
